Multiply your room's perimeter by the ceiling height to get wall square footage, then divide by 32 sq ft (one 4×8 sheet). A 12×12 room with 8-foot ceilings has about 384 sq ft of wall, so roughly 12 sheets — plus a margin for doors, windows, and cuts. The tool also estimates the number of drywall screws you'll need.
